抗疫无国界,同心战疫情

  由于受到肺炎疫情影响,学校开展了线上教学。为了保障外教课程进度和课程质量,外事处助指导外籍教师使用网络教学平台,鼓励外教们通过在线直播或录播的形式给我校学生授课,鼓励学生在线上与外教积极探讨交流。

  外籍教师们深知这次疫情中每个人面临的不易与坚强,在此特殊时期,让我们来听听他们的心声。

    I'm very proud of all of your strength and dedication during this time of crisis.Many countries originally believed that China was overreacting to the outbreak, but we can clearly see that such measures were necessary and effective towards this terrible situation. The world can look towards all of you and to China as a model of solidarity and tenacity. Let us all be hopeful for a brighter tomorrow.

How to Cope with Anxiety

 

Many in the world are now facing anxiety because of the current epidemic. Our anxieties may seem overwhelming, and you may even feel powerless to change your circumstances.? What can you do to alleviate anxiety? What can all of us do as this epidemic continues to affect our lives around the globe?

 

1.) Take one day at a time. You may feel anxious about the future, but leave those worries for tomorrow. Focus on what you can do today.

 

2.) Take control of what you can. We may feel powerless to change our situation, but we all have a measure of power. For example, we can follow the suggestions on preventing the spread of disease, germs and viruses.?

 

3.) Be thankful for what you currently have. This can be difficult when you have suffered as victims of this epidemic. Yet, try to make a list of things you are thankful for.? You will find that by focusing on positive things it will put your mind and heart at ease.

 

4.) Be generous. Continue to help one another and share what you have. Experts believe that by being generous we increase our joy and happiness. Humans find great satisfaction and fulfillment from treating others with kindness and generosity.

 

5.) Keep a healthy routine. Your current situation may be very restrictive and many of your plans may be put on hold. Yet, take the time to develop some structure in your daily or weekly life.? For example, you have online classes, lectures and homework.? Be diligent and mindful by fully utilizing this provision.?

 

These are just 5 suggestions to help you, and all of us, to better cope with anxiety.? We are thinking of you all and look forward to a day we can be together.

如何应对焦虑

    大家好,我们是JoeyAudra,这是我们来自美国西雅图的共勉。现如今世界各地人民都因新型肺炎疫情而感到焦虑恐慌,我们也正经历这样的困扰,我们也许无力去改变所处的环境,那么到底如何减轻自身的焦虑呢?我们又如何在疫情肆虐全球的时间里做些什么呢?

1.把握好今天。你可能会对未来感到焦虑,但请把这些担忧教给明天,把注意力放到当下。

2.把控你能控制好的事物。我们可能无力改变我们所处的环境,但是我们可以采取有力的措施,例如,防止疫情扩散,病菌感染。

3.感恩你所拥有的一切。如果你感染了肺炎病毒,你就很难去感恩你所拥有的一切。你可以尝试去写一张关于你想感恩的事物清单。同时,你会发现将自己的注意力放到积极的事物上,你的心灵会慢慢放松。

4. 对人对事慷慨大度。可以去帮助他人或与他人分享。专家认为对人对事慷慨大度会提高我们的幸福感。人类会从善待他人和慷慨对人中收获满足感和成就感。

5.保持一个健康的日常生活工作习惯。现如今的情形无法抗拒,但我们可以掌控我们的计划。我们可以规划好我们每周或每天要做的事情。例如,上好网课,写好作业。勤奋积极地利用这些计划。

希望这五条建议可以帮助所有人有效应地对焦虑恐慌。我希望我们可以尽快重逢。

More and more people are sick in France now. Now, almost impossible to obtain masks or other protective stuff. Only for medical staff and hospitals. The government controls all that now.

 

That is just the beginning in France and Europe and I think the situation will continue to become worst in the next weeks and months.

 

I heard that the situation started to improve a little in some parts of China. Good news for everyone.

I hope you and your relatives are all fine and safe.

 

I believe the light will come back soon for the whole world.

Meanwhile let's continue to be careful and be patient .

 

大家好,我是Philippe, 我在法国巴黎。如今法国患病人数在不断增加。 普通市民基本无法获得口罩和防护物资了,只有医务人员才能获得这些医疗物资,因为政府对这些物资进行严格控制了。

 

这仅仅是疫情在欧洲的开始,我认为接下来的数周和数月,疫情可能会恶化。

 

我听闻疫情已在中国多个省份得到了控制,这对大家来说都是一则好的消息。我希望你和你们的亲友都健康。

 

我相信希望之光会再次照亮世界。与此同时,我们需要更加小心和耐心。
